Create pre-launch visual identity and theatrical projection for a student-led musical exploring post-war Vietnam's healing journey.

Idea

Inspired by 1970s Vietnamese book covers, silhouettes and abstract forms were used for character anonymity during prelaunch, while theatrical projections later transform into atmospheric backdrops that breathe life into each scene.

About the client

"Người Tìm Nơi Sóng Lặng" is a musical production collaboration by G'LAMS 2023 with Một Buổi Nhạc Kịch. This year, the production ventures into new territory, exploring a theme that is both challenging and relevant to younger generations: the psychological impact of war.

Through original songs, dances, and a compelling narrative, the musical offers a unique perspective on the post-war period. It has successfully captured the nuances of human emotions, presenting a heartfelt and thought-provoking exploration of a significant chapter in Vietnam's history.
